<p>Especially for some weapons that work in burst mode was found, for example, an overheating of the barrel which can lead in some cases to a tearing of the metal or bursting of the barrel itself. The receiver, which serves to restrain the load and to support the weight of the expansion of gas when you shoot the shot, must be subjected to different heat treatments of hardening. Additionally some <strong>weapons are too heavy and unwieldy </strong>because the materials used does not respond adequately to the expectations in terms of treatment. It therefore follows that heat treatments are essential in this field.</p>

<p>The punching is also used for <strong>cutting, drilling and forming metal sheets</strong> for various purposes: for marking of guns, license plates for cars and many other applications. To improve the strength, the hardness and the surface finish the punches must be hardened and subjected to focused heat treatments.</p>

<p>What does HAERTHA Trattamenti termici?</p>
<blockquote><p>HAERTHA Trattamenti Termici was born in 2002 with the intention of entering the field of heat treatment of steels with high technological content. Over the years the growth has been constant and new plants were added to the previously substantial original investment to increase the range of propositions to the customer and the production capacity. At present, with 6 vacuum furnaces with a chance to load up to 2500 kg, our production capacity is 400 tons of special steel processed per month. To guarantee the highest quality in treatments we have also invested in a metallurgical laboratory for microstructural control of the steel treated samples in recent years. Our mission is to follow customers in the continuous improvement in production and quality that the market requires.</p></blockquote>
<p>Which heat treatments do you execute and what are the application fields?</p>
<blockquote><p><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-357" title="HAERTHA" src="http://industrial-vacuum-furnaces.com/wp-content/uploads/HAERTHA-300x203.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="203" />Heat treatments we offer addresse to all industries but the main target is tools, equipment and special steel dies industry. Typical treatments we execute are the massive quenching and tempering of casting dies, molding plastic, shearings or dies for forming and bending metal sheet.<br />
Another treatment is the surface nitriding or surface hardening of steels by absorption with Nitrogen.</p></blockquote>
<p>Is vacuum technology in heat treatments  important for your needs?</p>
<blockquote><p><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-355" title="HAERTHA_3" src="http://industrial-vacuum-furnaces.com/wp-content/uploads/HAERTHA_3-300x199.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="199" />Vacuum technology in the treatment of typical products of our customers is essential for the success of the thermal cycle.<br />
Only vacuum technology in fact allows to perform thermal cycles at high temperatures without surface alterations of the parts while limiting deformations and, while ensuring with the control of thermal cycles and the repeatability of the same, the best metallurgical and microstructural features of used steels.</p></blockquote>
